ASPenLink is committed to supplying you with the most reliable and secure end-to-end ASP software experience. That commitment begins at our collocated datacenter facility, located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. It is protected by electronic card key access, 24 hour video surveillance, and cement walls and floors built to withstand Category 5 storms.
Our individual locking cabinets feature a primary 30 amp AC source feed and a backup 20 amp AC circuit. All cabinets are equipped with an APC Smart-UPS 5000VA RM XL Uninterruptible Power Supply with step-down transformers supplying power to APC Switched-Rack Power Distribution units and are connected with ladder-racking above.
ASPenLink uses only Compaq rack-optimized Proliant® servers with redundant power supplies, fans, and SmartArray RAID controllers that are always configured with online spare hard drives. Support contracts with HP/Compaq ensure hardware and software support 24x7 with a 4 hour response time.
ASPenLink's state-of-the-art network consists of carrier-class Cisco Systems and Juniper M-series hardware with redundancy at all layers. Multiple routers and switches are configured for parallel routing and dynamic switching to ensure automatic fail-over in the event of hardware, software or link failures. ASPenLink's network is located in a local switching facility of Citizens Communications and attached directly to a packet-over-SONET OC48/OC12 Internet backbone. This means that if any part of fiber network is disabled, damaged, or even cut then the traffic is automatically re-routed around the fault to the unbroken side of the ring within 100 milliseconds of the outage.
With AC entrance of 3,000 amps, 480 volts plus DC power of 4,000 amps and 480 volts, ASPenLink has access to 300 KVA UPS systems providing 1,000 amps of 208 volts of backup power to our server cabinets. Coming online within 15 minutes of power loss, these industrial grade UPS systems provide a second of three levels of power redundancy for ASPenLink.
ASPenLink's datacenter has not one, but two 1.75 megawatt diesel generators with 24 hours of fuel supply onsite. These generators go online within 9 seconds of utility power loss. Diesel contracts with local fuel vendors ensure that the datacenter can be online for weeks with self-generated power.
Fully redundant cooling systems insure that the center is always operating at a temperature of optimum server performance. The units are designed as a true n 1 configuration.
