Windows 2003 Terminal Services

Terminal Services Logo

Using the thin-client technology of Windows 2003 Terminal Services, you can connect to ASPenLink by simply using your Internet Explorer Web Browser. By using any Internet connection and going to ASPenLink's website at www.aspenlink.com, you have the option of logging into our network directly though our Web Portal without downloading or installing software on your own. Using this method, the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection ActiveX control is downloaded and installed automatically, without the need to reboot your computer or configure any server settings or ports. Terminal Services thin-client print support also means that you are able to print reports, schedules and images directly to your office or even your home! Although very easy, this method doesn't compromise security. Remote Desktop Connection offers RSA Security's RC4 cipher with a key strength of 128-bit and is FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) compliant. [View Diagram]

Software Dial-up VPN Client

ASPenLink supports both the Windows 2000/XP built-in VPN client as well as Cisco 3.x VPN Client. Using your high-speed Internet connection, you can establish a software VPN tunnel to the ASPenLink network for remote scanning and running the software locally on your desktop PC. [View Diagram]

IPSec LAN-to-LAN

ASPenLink will help you in creating a persistent IPSec LAN-to-LAN connection by using your existing IPSec-capable hardware. With this true business-to-business connectivity, you will have always-on access to ASPenLink's application, database, and imaging servers. You have the option of using our Terminal Servers to access the SequelMed applications or you can run the software on a network share. [View Diagram]
